Azerbaijan plans to increase electricity generation from alternative energy sources to 6–8 gigawatts (GW) by 2032. According to the Operational Information Center (OMM), President Ilham Aliyev made the statement during the 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council and the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Advisory Council.
